Superstition

If you look closely, you might be able to spot my reflection on the glass. Taken from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

So I think my memory is realllyyyyyy failing me this time. I entered the wrong password to Windows this morning when I switched on the comp. I think it took like 5 tries before I finally got it right. Wahlau eh, and I login to my comp almost everyday wan leh! Like this also can forget! Must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Or maybe I woke up way tooooooooo early (9am bleh). I blame the tut tut from the sei nokia.

My desk/table is all cluttered with files and pieces of papers and letters and envelopes. And I’ve run out of files to use. Actually I think I have like 10 of those thick files (ring files or whatever u call them la). But I’m very superstitious about throwing away all the notes inside lo. How leh. Buy new files…

The other phone just rang (its one am) and it was the security guard. He called to ask if there’s water.

p/s : queensbay has a bloody blog! haha what the hell. Check out the panoramic shots and more!

Wishing and Hoping

Possibly the clearest pic I have of the bund. Too bad the tip of the tower is cut off. But then again, if I hadnt placed the cam on the whatever-you-call-it thing and switch on the self timer, the pic will be blur. Will take better pictures when I go back there!

3 weeks + more to CNY and as always, I look forward to CNY every year. Money (angpows!) + Food (peanut cookiesssssss!!). Especially so since I’m gonna be splurging on something that will result in me having to eat bread for the next 2 months at least. But I shall console myself by saying it will be a birthday + Christmas present to myself since well, I love myself very much. Never mind, angpows coming lalalala. Last year I splurged on a laptop which was hmmm…. almost triple the price of this. That is the most expensive thing that I’ve ever bought with my own money, so far wtf. This year, it will be this thing that I’ve yet to get but have set my eyes on and most probably a new camera. Let’s hope my earnings will commensurate with my spendings this year (11 more months to go!) or even better, exceed my spendings. Ahh no harm wishing and hoping. Lucky I’m not into branded stuff (think LV, Coach, Burberry). Or maybe I would be if I can actually afford them in the first place. Hopefully grandpa will be extra generous this year. kekekeke.

I’m a last minute CNY shopper (like 1-2 days before CNY). I’m aiming for a flat tummy (wakaka, so not gonna happen) and bigger boobs. Ahem. (What they say about gaining weight = bigger boobs, losing weight = smaller boobs is very true, so I’ve learnt)

Okay flat tummy, let’s see. Friends suggested I hit the gym (cardio, crunches etc) but I doubt I’ll last 5 minutes on the treadmill (no stamina, what to dooo). And say no to supper (oh my oreos). Goodbye oreos. Hello fruits. But I think think hor, imagine me coming back at 10pm and feeling hungry and there’s a packet of oreos on the table and some apples in the fridge. You think I will have the semangat to actually take a knife and peel the skin of the apples off?

Nah. Didn’t think so too.

So how leh.

Bare Your Soul

This picture almost looks like a painting. Not edited in any way (except resized, watermarked). Half dead camera is not that dead after all. Too bad I’ve returned the camera already. For those with curious minds, it’s a 2MP Nikon. Yes. You read that right. My ixus is still half dead. Must remember to send it to Canon one of these days.

I’ve been reading blogs for almost 6-7 years now. I have my favourites (blogs and bloggers) of course. Some of the best blogs I’ve ever read are now defunct. It’s weird you know. It’s usually the good ones that decide to stop. Most of these blogs are blogged by anonymous bloggers. I guess to a certain extent, if you are anonymous, you are more frank in your post. You pour out your feelings to this blank box on the net and click publish. You bare your soul for the whole world to see. Strangers taking a peek at your life. Don’t you feel violated? Or do you crave all the attention? You are not afraid of being judged because these people don’t know who you are. The most they can do is pass judgement on the blogger and not the real you.

If I was an anonymous blogger, would I have blogged differently?

It would be a blatant lie if I said no.

How was my day in detail and maybe in graphic too, the guys, stolen kisses, the memorable ones, the gossips, the friends I catch up with, what I did last weekend (and I really really want to blog it but I can’t), etc etc you get the picture.

(No, I’m not blogging anonymously somewhere else.)

Back to the blogs.

I don’t know about you but I read just about all types of blogs. Except for those trying to appear intellectual, like discussing issues issues la, reminds me of the school days when we have to write essays on kenapa remaja kini suka bermain video game.gejala gejala maksiat wtf haha. The only current issues blog post I enjoy are those from pink pau. The emo post. Okayla almost every bloggers have blogged one emo post before. Then there are those who blog for the sake of publishing a post (like moi wakaka). Dude (or dudette) if one day, you blog a post just because you don’t want to disappoint your XXXX readers when they log in to your blog and oops it’s not updated, then maybe it’s time to get away from the comp and rethink your priorities lo.

Some days, I feel like reading blog post full of camwhore pictures.

I like the one picture (or two) every post thing. It will be a regular thing i think. Better than one whole post filled with pictures and my useless commentary (of the pictures) hor.
