Cook

After >2 months here, I finally got sick of eating frozen food. And I can’t be eating out everyday coz it’s not economical.

Since I’m on Easter break and I have the whole kitchen to myself….

Marinated the chicken and baked it! As easy as ABC WTF. Yeah I know it looks horrible.

I’ve also been craving for some chicken curry since I got here. So I stopped by the pathetic Chinatown here (gawd here’s what I miss about London) and randomly picked an instant curry paste packet and a can of coconut milk. I think it’s a malaysian brand but I’ve never heard of it hmmmm.

Oh. IT’S A BITCH DE-BONING DRUMSTICKS. BITCH BITCH BITCH.

The plainest fried rice everrrrrrr. No garlics, no whatever. Just rice and soy sauce. With a plain omelette. It sucked.

I’ve been incredibly stressed over some stupid embarrassing sia suey incident that happened just before the Easter Break but mostly coz of my work.

Because I have no fricking idea what area to do my research on.

I need a holiday but I have so much work to do butttttttt argh. And the worst thing is I think my brain is not working. Brain Block. I just need to get out of this place.

And I can’t help thinking maybe I should have went back for Easter.

Gawd knows I really need to be around the people and food that I love so much.

That’s really all I need.

pint

It’s no secret that I’ve put on weight since I got here.

How, I don’t know. I’ve been walking sooooooo much and I have rice like once a week only.

Two nights ago I had 1kg of mussels and half a steak (and I’m wondering how i put on so much weight).

Washed down with a pint of lager.

Yum.

A couple of days ago, someone emailed me pictures of char kuay teow.

Yes.

PENANG CHAR KUAY TEOW.

That’s just plain evil right?!?!

So I had some pad thai for dinner tonight.

Not even close.
