reality really bites

It’s no secret that I’ve put on weight since I got here.

How, I don’t know. I’ve been walking sooooooo much and I have rice like once a week only.

Two nights ago I had 1kg of mussels and half a steak (and I’m wondering how i put on so much weight).

Washed down with a pint of lager.

Yum.

A couple of days ago, someone emailed me pictures of char kuay teow.

Yes.

PENANG CHAR KUAY TEOW.

That’s just plain evil right?!?!

So I had some pad thai for dinner tonight.

Not even close.

So it has been almost 6 weeks.

Not homesick YET, but I’ve been feeling pretty shitty and it doesn’t help that I’m thousand of miles away from my favourite people and food.

There’s no one to talk to. Talk as in picking up the phone and just dial a familiar number.

And it doesn’t help that the alcohol here is bloody cheap.
