Bokeh

Ho ho ho.

I’ve always thought bokeh means idiot or something like that.

But today, I found out it is a term to describe certain kind of photographs!

And I realised, I’ve been taking bokeh pictures without knowing it!

In simple terms, you know those pictures where the foreground is sharp while the background is blur? That, is called bokeh.

Hahaha

No I’m not kidding.

So here are my bokeh pictures! Taken with my almost dead canon ixus 30, 3 years ago. No photoshopping or anythiing. Just plain resizing.

#2 - I think some of you have seen this one before.

#3

#4 - The center is sharp.

Who needs a one grand AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G when a plain old ixus can do the job?
Hehehe :P

Though I admit the pictures aren’t that sharp, but hey this is the ixus without any manual controls.

Wait till I get my hands on the Ixus 980 IS or if I ever do.
