reality really bites

Back in 2005, I met a bunch of new friends who love photography. I hung out with them occasionally and most of the time, we will end up in some remote places of Penang that I never knew existed.

After about a year, I got a little busy with err some stuff and I did not keep in touch that often.

Sometimes, I’ll head over to this site where they set up last year and check out the fabulous pictures posted by the members there. A while back, I posted a link to this series of panoramic shots of various location in Penang.

The photographer was one friendly chap and he taught me a lot of things about photography (though I have probably forgot them now) and he was real good with photoshop. He even edited some of my pictures before. He also told me that he needs to go for dialysis (the reason why I chose to blog for NKF at the only blogathon I ever participated 3 years back. you guys didn’t think I simply picked out a beneficiary from the thin air, did you) every alternate days and this has been his routine for a couple of years already. I remember him telling me that he went to many doctors but none of them could tell what was wrong with him until he went into coma. I remember he was always in nike baseball caps that matches his shirts. I remember the protruding scars on his arm from the countless needle pokes.

I found out that he passed away last Monday.

Wherever you are, we know you are in a so much better place now.

Thank you for all the guidance and for being the perfect example of what never giving up means.

I spent late last night in youtube watching videos of lydia sum. There was a video of her and her daughter (probably less than 5 years old that time) singing on stage. And right now, I’m watching the TVB’s special remembrance show for her. I like her game shows a lot and also during the big show for TVB’s anniversary where all the actors will be there. Few months back, the papers were showing pictures of her being admitted to the hospital (which was really unnecessary) and I couldn’t recognize her at all. Then she showed up during the TVB’s Anniversary (i think) show last year looking very thin and frail.

For all the laughter and wicked stunts.

My Monday started rather dully until pinkpau sent me a message on msn. Now, when she sends me a message first, it means either she wants something from me or she needs something from me. heehee

She asked if I saw kennysia.com and I said no and I will go see it now. I saw and I thought she wanted to tell me Alleycats are coming to Penang haha

I am so gonna regret posting this but what the heck.

This year I did the last of the very last minute cny shopping, ie: on the eve and all the clothes weren’t washed before I put them on la.

So anyway I got myself a pair of jeans. It was a size smaller coz I thought I look better in it (and I do look better).

When I tried it on, it fits and all though it was a bit tight but I could button it so no problem there.

BUT of course, when I wore it the next day and then proceeded to get into the car and SAT DOWN, CIPET the stitches kinda stretched. See Picture.

Like WTF RIGHT.

AND BOYS AND GIRLS, THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER BUY A SIZE SMALLER THAN YOUR USUAL SIZE.
