reality really bites

Can somebody like, apply for the franchise of JCO or whatever Donut (krispy kreme) and open a store here?

Because I have never tried them tho I have seen thousand (okay la, hundreds la maybe) of pictures of them splashed in the blogs.

I was going to dangle a carrot in front of my bro since his exams are starting soon and I thought maybe this will push him a bit. in other words, bribery lah. i had lots of carrots dangled in front of me during my school years since i was (and still is) such a lazy ass and i hate to say this, but it worked everytime.

just one thing, if you are gonna bribe your kids, you’d better be ready to keep your end of the bargain. just like talking to little kids, keep the promises you made to them or else they will never believe you anymore. you tell them you’re gonna bring them out on wednesday, bring them out. if you cant keep them, dont make them. as simple as that.

anyway i decided not to and instead, i’ll just give him the carrot if he manage to get all As. i guess we will find out next year. no need to dangle and all lah. besides my parents havent dangle anything yet so if the kid manage to get all As, its not because of the carrots, but because he really wants to do well. i hope he do well.

most of all, this will be his last shot at getting better results in the gov exams than me.

and that, will be the biggest motivator of all.
