chocolate vanilla cough syrup
Thursday, November 29th, 2007i could smell the chocolate flavor cough syrup from half a mile away.
all my essential gadgets seems to be dying on me this year.
first to die on me is the phone - and no, i haven’t gotten myself a new one yet, mainly because I CANNOT DECIDE WHICH PHONE TO GET - and i’m very fussy because i want it to be slim and light, 2.0MP camera at least, and WIFI enabled and 3G. So i’ve been using this old and bulky phone which was the latest in the market 10 years ago for like 3 months already? never thought i would last this long. its bulky its heavy i hate it but it serves its purpose - calls and texts.
it’s a nokia and i don’t like nokia. i have never used a nokia before (before this) and i dont like how ppl keep saying its the most user friendly phone ever because right now, it takes me 3 minutes to type out a 20 word text. all phones are user friendly (exception applies of course), its just the users who are lazy. lazy to learn new things, to adapt. we all like familiarity.
but something happened today which made me realised i need a phone with at least 3G connectivity.
and then there’s my half dead ixus. half dead because i need to shake it before i can do anything with it (take/review pics/videos). usually it will be stucked in between taking videos or taking pics. then there’s this dead pixel on the lcd screen. last thing i need is for the thing to die on me when i’m 50000 miles away from here. i don’t have the i-dont-know-which-phone-should-i-get thingi with cameras because at the end of the day, i’m a canon fangirl. only for the ixus series though. but i’m very frugal when it comes to buying a new camera because i only use it like 5 times a year, the most?
and 3 months from today, i will still be blogging about how i need a new phone but im too indecisive and maybe about how my freaking cam died on me while i was 5000000 miles away (god forbid).
